Acceptable file types

The filetypes available for upload are mp4, avi, mov, wmv, flv.

Mp4 files encoded in h.264 format are ideal and won't be converted.

The upload is limited to 140Mb per video.

Video player dimensions,

Standard: 640x360
Large (Standard x 1.45): 928x522 (This may seem an odd size but it is the largest possible in the current design)

Uploading

Approximate upload connection times at 0.5Mb/s
Upload progress is indicated by the grey bar

30Mb File = 6min
45Mb File = 13 min
67Mb File = 20 min
100Mb File = 30 min

Once your file has been uploaded the conversion process will take place. Expect between 1 - 5 Mins.

Retaining quality

You can also compress video yourself prior to upload for complete control of quality over filesize. You will need to produce an mp4 file using h.264 encoding using your own authoring software. Low cost options include Quicktime Pro (make sure you choose the upgrade/pro version).
