The Application Process

- Register by completing the application form giving us some insight about yourself.
- Link us to some of your work for evaluation.
- On approval of membership we will send you your login information.
- By applying for membership you agree to abide by our terms & conditions.
What does your membership give you?
- A dedicated microsite featuring your works, your profile, contact details, and a link to your own website (http:/www…)
- Search-engine links that drive website traffic to your work and enhance your online presence.
- Networking and marketing assistance through LPA movingPictures
- website, facebook, twitter & LinkedIn.
When supplying your profile as a filmmaker, make sure your
text includes the following details:-
- Your full name
- Your specialist topics and themes as a filmmaker
- A summary of your experiences, career and achievements to date
- Your contact details (including your email address, website address)
- A photograph of yourself - this is an integral part of the site design.
Just as the LPA movingPictures aims to provide a
professional environment to showcase your work, we request that you
present your portfolio in an organised format.
So we recommend that you:-
- Describe, caption/tag, title and categorise each film clearly to avoid confusion during online search.
- Be ruthless in the works you select to submit (three excellent films are better than 300 poor-quality productions).
- Submit only accurate facts and figures about your works.
- Supply appropriate genre categories for each film (to ensure quick access during Google search)
- Save copies of your work in the file format used during submissions.
- Ensure you own the copyright to your works.
- Add your LPAmP link (http:/www) to your email signature.
- Update your profile regularly so that we can cover your news, achievements and career developments in the News & Articles section, and our newsletter.
