A weapon of mass destruction is defined as “a weapon that can kill large numbers of humans.” 180,000 humans every year probably counts.
What is this weapon, that, according to those incidents reported to the FDA, results in hundreds of thousands of deaths annually?
Prescription drugs. This is not prescription drug abuse. These are drugs, taken as prescribed, under medical supervision. These are drugs created and marketed by some of the largest organizations in the world, with government approval, using every tactic associated with the tobacco industry and street drug dealers to get people hooked, often at a very young age.
Why is this allowed to happen? How can large companies get away with this? Why are so many people dying with no accountability?
