Short films developing 'the image' of the revolutionary South African post apartheid youth radio station YFM.

Concept: The aim was to encourage ad agencies and magazines to see the radio station as a useful tool with which they could develop and communicate the concept of -  a young;  cool and upwardly mobile -  vibrant  '' ikasi'' ( township slang for township culture ) youth movement.
 
Developing the  funky colourful new face -  'voice / sound  '  - of  post - apartheid South African youth.

Nelson Mandela's optimistic '' Rainbow Nation -  live and direct.''

The station became a cult - the leading youth station in the country - eventually publishing its own glossy fashion music and style magazine.
