Film director and producer Giacomo Cimini was born in Rome in 1977. After completing his degree studies in communication in 2002, Giacomo worked in development office for the Italian film production company Cattleya: he then became assistant director for commercials and music videos while continuing to direct his own short films.
In 2003 Giacomo directed his first feature film, the micro budget horror Red Riding Hood; subsequently he was hired by Italian Fox Channel to direct the 8-episode TV series Delitti and in 2006 he relocated to London taking an MA in filmmaking at the London Film School.
His latest short film La Citta' nel Cielo (City in the Sky) premiered at the 66th Venice Film Festival and granted him a place at the Berlinale Talent Campus 2010.
